Hemet City Council says residents should have a 'balanced energy' choice in the future

The Hemet City Council joined with other cities across California by approving a resolution to support “balanced energy solutions” with people’s choice in choosing electric or gas for their utility in the future.

The resolution made by the council at the May 28 council meeting was not in opposition to California and other states across the nation proposing to eliminate, by mandate, energy sources, particularly fossil fuels, but to allow residents to choose the most cost effective way to reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the future.
