P.E.O. Murrieta Chapter FE donates books to Oak Grove

Oak Grove Center students help members of the philanthropic group, Murrieta Chapter FE P.E.O., which stands for Providing Educational Opportunities for Women, unload $1200 worth of new books that P.E.O. Chapter FE donated to the Oak Grove Center's library, May 22. The Oak Grove Center is a nonprofit residential, educational, treatment center for children with psychological, emotional and behavioral problems and special needs. 

Students at Oak Grove Center have a few more books to read, thanks to the efforts of the Murrieta Chapter of Providing Educational Opportunities for Women.

The philanthropic group donated $1,200 worth of new books to Oak Grove Center's library Wednesday, May 22, dropping them off at the school at 24275 Jefferson Ave. in Murrieta.

"It is an unbelievable list," Oak Grove Center CEO Tammy Wilson said, as she rattled off a slew of book titles. "There is just a huge assortment."

Students checked out the new books as they helped to unload the boxes and bags to bring them into the library.
