Superior court changes filing procedures to make e-filing the standard

Last updated 6/12/2019 at 6:46pm

RIVERSIDE - Using the Riverside County Superior Court's e-filing portal to submit documents will be the standard beginning July 1, with fax filing no longer accepted after that date, officials announced.

According to the court, eSubmit will allow users to upload 15 pdf documents in one transaction, at a cost of $1.85. Once the document threshold is exceeded, additional fees will apply.

Officials also noted that filers will be limited to sending documents for one case at a time, not multiple cases at the same time.

Fax filings are being phased out "for greater efficiency and security,'' according to a Superior Court statement, citing a revision to the Code of Civil Procedure.
