Hamilton K-8 School promotes 8th-grade students

Hemet Unified School District Governing Board President Megan Haley attends the Hamilton K-8 Eighth Grade Promotion Ceremony Friday, May 31.

The Hamilton K-8 School Eighth Grade Promotion ceremony was held Friday, May 31, and it was standing room only as families cheered for their students every step of the way.

Outgoing Principal Carol Robilotta was tearful, yet joyous for the students, she said.

"This was my last promotion, and the first time that I had a group of kids from kinder to promotion," she said.

Robilotta has been principal at the school for nine years.

Dozens of awards were dispersed, among them recognition for band, sports, attendance, honor roll, 4.0 GPA, "H" awards and Outstanding Eighth Grade Boy and Girl....
