The Temecula Valley Elks Lodge 2801 honors the 2019 Students of the Year from the Temecula area, including in the front, Gabriela Gonzales; Kendall Hong; Eden Schott; Samantha Vazzana; Alexis Jones; Julia Semingson; Charlotte Myers; Erica Norrid and Nimita Raghuwanski and in the back, Diane Farrens, Elks middle school co-chairman; Justin Hougland; Leo Thai; Christopher Clay; Christopher Baker; James Dursteler; Christopher Allen; Enrique Curiel; C.J. Moran; Evan Rangel; Joshua Watts and Bob Farrens, Elks middle school co-chairman.

TEMEULA – Temecula Valley Elks Lodge 2801 held their 21st annual middle school "Student of the Year" presentations recently at Van Avery Prep School. The Elks recognized 46 students from eight schools in the Temecula area. Each middle school was asked to submit applications for three females and three males. Each applicant included a 300-word essay describing why they should be selected as the "Student of the Year" from their school. A committee of Elks judged the applications according to their academic achievement, citizenship, involvement in school activities and leadership activities....
