Victorian Tea Room opens in historic downtown Hemet

The recent opening of the Phantom of the Opera Tea Room in historic downtown Hemet was a joy and a triumph of love for proprietor Eve Faulkner.

Faulkner, a Victorian wedding historian and teacher, first opened the Victorian Bridal Museum at 146 N. Harvard St. in Hemet six years ago with partners in an antique shop. When her partners left, she was left with their portion of the story behind the museum.

Then last week she opened the tearoom.
