Temecula council approves pay raise, extension for city manager

Temecula City Manager Aaron Adams addresses the city council during the June 11 council meeting during which his employment agreement was extended and he was awarded a raise.

Temecula City Manager Aaron Adams has earned a pay raise for his work with the city according to the Temecula City Council, who voted unanimously for five changes to his agreement with the city at the Tuesday, June 11, council meeting.

The changes include an extension on Adams' agreement to continue his employment through June 30, 2024, his base salary will increase from $231,750 to $245,863 effective July 1 and continue through the next five years.

He will also receive a cost of living increase, the city will also contribute to an approved internal revenue code 457B deferred compensation...
