Lake Elsinore continues to 'Dream Extreme' with McVicker Canyon Skate Park

With skateboards and helmets in hand, dozens of skaters, BMX riders and skate part enthusiasts converged upon Lake Elsinore's newly remodeled McVicker Canyon Skate Park Tuesday, June 18, to celebrate the opening of the "most extreme" of the city's three skateparks.

Originally the city's first skatepark, McVicker Canyon Skate Park underwent a $1.1 million renovation that began last year. Taking nearly a year to complete, the 13,000-square-foot skate park designed by Grindline, offers the latest features available and was built to be enjoyed by beginners and professionals alike, Lake Elsinore...
