One person killed in Perris crash

PERRIS (CNS) - One person was fatally injured when their vehicle crashed through a metal fence surrounding a property Sunday, June 30 in Perris, authorities said.

The crash was around 6:50 p.m. at the intersection of Greenwald Avenue and Lari Mark Street, the California Highway Patrol reported.

The vehicle crashed through a metal fence and ended up in the yard, the CHP said.

A medical issue for the driver may have led to this deadly crash, the CHP said.

There's no word yet on the gender or age of the victim, or what medical condition may have triggered the crash. The victim's name was withheld pending notification of next of kin.

No other injuries were reported in connection with this crash.
