Hamilton students host car wash to raise funds for Puerto Rico trip

A car wash is planned for Saturday, July 6, at the Dairy Queen to help raise funds for the Hamilton Travel Club 2019's Puerto Rico trip next April.

Students from Hamilton High School's Travel Club will hold a car wash to raise funds for an educational foray to Puerto Rico next April.

The event will be held at the Anza Dairy Queen parking lot, Saturday, July 6, from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., or until the last car in line is sparkling clean. Any and all donations are welcome, club members said.

Last school year, contributions from local patrons sent about a dozen students to Washington and New York City for a trip of a lifetime. Now organizers have their sights set on a tour of Puerto Rico, they said.
