SITV brings one of Shakespeare's 'problem plays' to Baily Winery

Kailey Bosna stars in Shakespeare in the Vines' "Measure for Measure," opening this weekend at Baily Vineyard & Winery in Temecula.

According to Shakespeare in the Vines' director Michael Eastman, "Measure for Measure" is considered one of William Shakespeare's "problem shows," a series of plays written the late 1590s and early 1600s that includes "All's Well That Ends Well" and "Troilus and Cressida."

"(They are) a group of shows towards the end of his career that have elements of low brow comedy and clowns as well as deep tragic drama," Eastman said.
