Murrieta Wildomar Chamber of Commerce announces nominees for annual awards

The Murrieta Wildomar Chamber of Commerce announced the nominees for its annual awards Tuesday, July 2.

Nominees for Small Business of the Year are Angel Reza Realtor Consultant, Heritage Hill, A Better Look Home Inspections, Chef’s Grille, Compass HR, Coworking Connection, Creative Dynamics, Edward Jones’ Allen Montemagno, Elias Shoes, Endeavor Video Marketing, Executive Hair, Get A Clue Room Escape, Homes & Loans Done Right, Jon’s Movers, Law Offices of Benjamin Diederich, Piercings by Midori, Premier Solar Cleaning, PrideStaff, Residential Real Estate’s Joanne Castro, Sullivan Solar Power, The Cake Cottage, Vince’s Spaghetti Express and Which Wich Superior Sandwiches.

Nominees for Medium Business of the Year are 8 Bit Brewing Co., Buffalo Wild Wings – Murrieta, Caron Construction, Devilicious Eatery, Donohoe Chiropractic, Financial Accounting Services, iCare Urgent Care, McDonald’s – Murrieta/Wildomar, Pie Nation Pizzeria, Progressive Health and Performance, REV 1 Engineering, Ruff and Ready Moving, Shamrock Irish Pub & Eatery, Signs By Tomorrow, SRCAR, Stromsoe Insurance Agency, The Creative Bar and The Mill Restaurant.

Nominees for Large Business of the Year are Ashley Furniture Home Store, Courtyard by Marriott, CR&R Inc., Cryoquip, Lake Elsinore Casino, MPS Security, Mulligan Family Fun Center, Murrieta Day Spa, Rady Children’s Health Services, Riverside Transit Agency, Sizzler – Murrieta, Southwest Healthcare System, Temecula Valley Hospital and Waste Management.

Nominees for Nonprofit/Service Organization of the Year are 102.5-FM The Vine, Animal Friends of the Valleys, Assistance League of Temecula Valley, Exceptional Sports, Habitat for Humanity, Jacobs House, Junior Amateur Golf Scholars, Michelle’s Place Cancer Resource Center, Murrieta Development Advisory Group, Murrieta Rotary Club, Oak Grove Center, Professional Women’s Roundtable, Project T.O.U.C.H., Rose Again Foundation, Safe Alternatives for Everyone, Save the Animals Today, Tiffany’s Gift, Trauma Intervention Program of SWRC, United Methodist Church, Valley Resource Center, Veteran Business Action Committee and Wildomar Elks Lodge 2591.

Nominees for Entrepreneur of the Year are Center for Low Carb Living’s Melanie Pederson, Go Bright Side’s Shane Riggs, Inland Wharf’s Robert Durant, Kre8tive Bites’s Robyn King, Murrieta Genomics’s Jay Goth, Piercings by Midori’s Midori Ramsey, Residential Real Estate’s Joanne Castro, St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church’s Father Andrew Lesko, The Lakehouse Boutique’s Denise Boik, The Mill Restaurant’s Adam Bouvet, The Wine Ranch’s Debbie Wiens and Which Wich Superior’s Sandy Word.

Nominees for Chamber Member of the Year are Amy Blackwell, April Vidal, Cindy Warren, Emily Padilla, George Mills, Jennifer Sevilla, Luanne Jobgen, Raj Narayanan, Robert Durant, Robert Rosenthal, Shannon Koechling and Tom Grimes.

In addition to the business awards, individuals were also nominated for citizen of the year and volunteer of the year.

Murrieta Citizen of the Year nominees are Allen Montemagno, Annette Jennings, April Vidal, Caryn Gorzo, Cindy Warren, Daneen Ashworth, Erik McLeod, Linda Westfall, Matt Smith, Sherrie Munroe and Tanya Gillick.

Wildomar Citizen of the Year nominees are Andy Morris, Bridgette Moore, Dana Dejong, Kenneth Mayes, Robert Wilson and Todd Donohoe.

Murrieta Volunteer of the Year nominees are April Vidal, Cheryl Davis, Cindy Warren, Frank Donahoe, Lisa Wayman, Rob & Esmeralda Stout, Robin Facer and Sandy Word.

Wildomar Volunteer of the Year nominees are Andy Morris, Chrissy Rohlomeier and Monica Kirkland.

Award winners will be announced at the annual awards celebration Saturday, Aug. 24, at Pechanga Resort Casino’s Summit Ballroom.
