Trio of Padres prospects selected to 2019 SiriusXM All-Star Futures game

A pair of current Lake Elsinore Storm pitchers join former Storm Adrian Morejon as Padres representatives

MacKenzie Gore has dominated the California League to the tune of a 1.12 earned run average so far this season, representing the Lake Elsinore Storm in the prestigious SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game.

LAKE ELSINORE – For the third consecutive year, fans got to hear mention of the Lake Elsinore Storm in the prestigious SiriusXM All-Star Futures Game, played at Progressive Field, the home of the Cleveland Indians. Southpaw MacKenzie Gore and flame-throwing right-hander Luis Patiño represented the Lake Elsinore Storm at this year's contest, Sunday, July 7.

Cuban left-hander Adrian Morejon, who donned "The Eyes" last season in Lake Elsinore and is now playing for the Amarillo Sod Poodles, the Double-A affiliate of the San Diego Padres, which makes three Padres on a 10-player pitching...
