Industrial hemp testing and product sales now OK in Murrieta

The Murrieta City Council adopted a resolution allowing industrial hemp and testing in the city with an eye toward later permitting its manufacturing and sales at the Tuesday, July 16, city council meeting.

Industrial hemp, not to be confused with marijuana or cannabis with high levels of THC, is commonly used in many products such as rope, clothing and some health products with CBD.
