BLM eradicates pot farm July 26

The Bureau of Land Management, in conjunction with the California Department of Justice Campaign Against Marijuana Planting, conducted cannabis eradication activities on BLM lands in the area of the Ramona Reservation in Anza Friday, July 26.

An estimated 8,000 to 9,000 cannabis plants were slated to be eradicated, according to a spokesman.

In addition to destroying and removing the plants, forces worked to reclaim the land by removing trash from the grows such as irrigation pipes, plastic bags, fertilizers, pots and other rubbish. The goal was to put the land back to its prior natural st...
