Kool August Nights begins monthlong concert series at San Jacinto's Estudillo Mansion

San Jacinto Mayor Russ Utz, middle right, welcomes residents to the first Kool August Nights free concert series at the historic Estudillo Mansion, 150 S. The rocking Last Call Crush band sounded out "I am a Believer," "The One I Love" and other 60s, 70s and 80s cover songs Wednesday, Aug. 7, to the delight of more than 100 San Jacinto Valley residents at the city's first Kool August Nights event at the Estudillo Mansion.

The historic mansion welcomed concert goers to its grassy lawns with the band, a beer garden by San Jacinto's Mason Jar Brewing Co., pizza by Wood Fired Pizza to Go and cool shaved ice by Bamboo Ice.
