Temecula's Sepersky wins Sydney Michaels Golf Classic

Temecula's Serena Sepersky, left, who is heading to the University of Nevada Las Vegas to continue her golf career, recorded five birdies and three bogies during her final round to win the Sydnee Michaels Classic.

The first ever Sydnee Michaels Classic wrapped up at Temecula Creek Inn Sunday, Aug. 11. Michaels is a current LPGA player with a resume full of impressive feats such as being a three-time Women's Golf Coaches Association All-American and five career top-10 finishes on the Ladies Professional Golf Association tour. Her career has helped her garner $974,202 in career earnings.
