Three suspects arrested in connection with death of Wildomar man

Lake Elsinore residents Christian Meza, Christina Meza, and Alejandro Villegas were all arrested in connection with the death of a Wildomar man earlier this month.

LAKE ELSINORE - Three suspects, all Lake Elsinore residents, were arrested in connection with the death of a 31-year-old Wildomar man on Aug. 17, according to a report by the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Lake Elsinore Station on Thursday, Aug. 29.

Christina Meza, 30, Christian Meza, 28, and Alejandro Villegas, 25, all from Lake Elsinore, were arrested for murder with gang, kidnapping and torture enhancement charges. A fourth suspect, Roberto Camacho, 43, of Lake Elsinore, is currently in custody out of county, but will be transported to Riverside County and booked for the same charges.

The three suspects were booked at the Cois Byrd Detention Center.

On Saturday, Aug. 17 deputies from the Lake Elsinore Sheriff Station discovered the body of Frery Coronel, 31, of Wildomar in an open area west of the roadway at S. Main Divide about 3.5 miles south of Ortega Highway. CAL Fire initially responded and pronounced the male deceased.

Based on trauma found on the victim, a crime scene was secured, and the Central Homicide Unit responded.
