Suspect in casino killing said to be sister of Clippers star Kawhi Leonard

LOS ANGELES – One of the suspects accused of killing an 84-year-old woman at the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula is said to be the sister of newly signed Los Angeles Clippers star forward Kawhi Leonard, it was reported.

On Aug. 31, Kimesha Monae Williams, 35, and Candace Tai Townsel, 39, allegedly followed Afaf Anis Assad of Long Beach into a bathroom, where the duo attacked and robbed her, according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Department.

An aunt of Williams told the Riverside Press-Enterprise Saturday that Williams and Leonard are siblings.
